The Thurrock Thames Gateway Development Corporation ("TTGDC") is committed to adhering to the following corporate policies: -

	Freedom of information 22 August 2006 The Freedom of Information Act gives you the right to obtain information held by public bodies unless there are good reasons to keep it confidential.
	Data protection 22 August 2006 The Data Protection Act which gives you the right to know what information is held about you, and set rules to ensure information about you is handled properly.
	Environmental information 22 August 2006 The Environmental Information Regulations give you the right to obtain information held by public bodies unless there are good reasons to keep it confidential.
	Information commissioner 22 August 2006 The Information Commissioner's Office is the UK's independent public body set up to promote access to official information and to protect personal information. They regulate and enforce the Data Protection Act, the Freedom of Information Act, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations and the Environmental Information Regulations. The ICO provides guidance to organisations and individuals. They rule on eligible complaints and can take action when the law is broken. Reporting directly to Parliament, the Commissioner's powers include the ability to order compliance, using enforcement and decision notices, and prosecution.
	Information Charter and Complaints Procedure 22 August 2006 The Corporation has a clear complaints procedure that members of the public can use to raise any issues that they deem necessary.
