View and Comment on Applications

If you would like to comment on a planning application you can do so by email, fax or in writing to the Planning Department stating the application address and reference number. Comments should be sent to:

Alternatively, you can submit comments online. If the planning application reference number or site address is known then you can make specific comments on the Development Corporation’s Planning Applications Database using the comments function. If you are unsure of these details then general comments regarding a development, email this address: Planners@thurrocktgdc.org.uk.

Whichever method you use to submit your comments, these will be passed to the relevant planning case officer for consideration in the preparation of their planning report and planning recommendation.

If you submit comments on a planning application, you will be advised in writing when it is due to be considered by the Development Corporation’s Planning Committee. You will also be invited to attend the planning meeting and have an opportunity to address the meeting, if you so wish.

Application documentation including plans, drawings and other supporting documents can be viewed on the Development Corporation’s Planning Applications Database or, alternatively, at the Development Corporation’s offices Monday to Friday, between 9.00am to 4.30pm.
