Home > Planning > How to submit an application > How to submit an application If you are thinking of submitting a planning application, the first step is to assess whether your development proposal will fall to TTGDC to determine. These thresholds are set out in the Statutory Order. It is sensible to contact a planning officer at TTGDC to discuss your proposal prior to making an application for planning permission. In some instances it may also prove useful to contact the Planning Department at Thurrock Council, who hold background information on certain sites. Once you are in a position to submit your planning application you should send your application, together with the appropriate fee (payable to Thurrock Council) to the Planning Department at Thurrock Council. When making a planning application please use the Thurrock Council application forms, which may be found on their website. Click here. Thurrock Council will deal with the validation and registration of the application as in the past, before passing to TTGDC to determine. Thurrock Council will deal with all matters relating to the publicity and consultation with both statutory and non statutory consultee's.
