Learning Campus
The Thurrock Learning Campus will play a key role in increasing
the opportunities for local people to gain the skills and knowledge
needed to access high quality and well paid employment. The 30,000
sq.m campus will be a groundbreaking partnership between Further
and Higher Education and will provide opportunities for adult
community education and work based learning. The Campus will
feature a public piazza with a cafe kiosk and outdoor seating and a
range of facilities for the whole town. It is envisaged that
the Southern High Street will become a centre of outdoor activity
with al fresco dining
and public seating, while offering the chance to expand the popular
street market north of the Town Centre.
