Community
More than eight hundred
thousand pounds has been distributed to the local community by
the Thurrock Thames Gateway Development Corporation.
The Corporation's Community Fund
was launched in January 2007 to establish links with residents and
to help progress the invaluable work undertaken by local community
groups and the voluntary sector.
Many grass roots groups have
received grants of up to £20,000, and they have each demonstrated
that they are working to build stronger communities that everyone
can feel a part of.
